How To Use Gradient Maps

Gradients
Gradients are amazing. You can use them as backgrounds, lighting, or changing the overall look and feel of your signature. You also can apply gradients on vector and colourbar.

How to pick a gradients


Or by press "G''


Default gradient have Colour harmonies 1...til Spectrums. Click and use.
However..you can create your gradient that suit your tastes.

How to create gradient


Click the box


Adjusting the colour of range show in the "red circle". For e.g Move to left or right.
To pick a colour..click the "colour".
To add extra colour..click the box in the "red circle" and drag.
Then click "ok".
If you lazy to create..just go DA download. Type "Photoshop gradient". And notice whether it is ".grd" file.
Download..and choose "load gradients" or "replace gradients".

How to remove gradient maps


Just right click the gradient map you want to delete and pop up menu will appear with 3 options. Choose the last one.

How to apply gradient in the signature


Drag it over the signature. You can try different angle. And set the layer settings to colour, soft light or overlay, you can dramatically change the whole signature.

Observe just by adding a gradient map to the signature.

How To Change IP Address

What is IP address?
IP address stands for Internet Protocol address. This basically is the locator for an IP device to find another one and interact with it. You can kind of think of it as a street address for your computer or other kind of network device. Your IP address can be used to identify a specific computer or other network device easily since every number is different.

Notes that
Many websites and most hackers use IP addresses to monitor your personal business and that your home address and other personal information about you can be retrieved once your IP address is known.

If your IP address isn’t hidden, virtually anyone with Internet access can track you directly to your home. Everyone can see this information—including hackers!

Why we need to change our IP address?
To bypass megaupload download limit, to disable the ban from various site such as dattebayo, forum, online game and so on.

How to change
For Windows - Computer connected directly to the modem

Step 1
Start->Run->Key in "cmd" without the quotes

Step 2
Type these commands in the command prompt:
"ipconfig /flushdns" (Without the quotes)
"ipconfig / release" (Without the quotes)
"ipconfig / renew" (Without the quotes)

Before you begin step 2..please disconnect(dc) your internet connection first..After completed the step 2..reconnect again.

The check you IP address..Go to http://www.ip-adress.com/

You also can use notepad to change your IP.
Copy the commands->paste into notepad->save as ".BAT" (Without the quotes)
So.. every time you just need to click the file and it will automatically change you IP ^^

What is ripping art?
Ripping art means using an image someone else created (to make avatars or signatures for example), in whole or in part, without the artist's explicit permission. This applies both to art and "gfx" (which is often used for backgrounds).

So what happens if I find someone ripping my art?
If your art has been ripped, then first contact the offender, asking the offending piece to be removed. Save the email or pm you've used as "evidence" that you've done so, in case the offender tries to defend himself by saying that no such warning has been issued to him.

Original work are protected under the Copyright Act 1987.
Original work are include Artistic work.
Section 3 of the Copyright Act 1987 defines artistic work as a graphic(gfx) work such as painting, drawing) and photograph, irrespective of artistic quality.

Consequences for infringement
(a) Civil remedies - They include damages, injunction and an account for profits.
(b) Criminal offences - A fine not exceedng RM10,000 for each infringing copy or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.

Firefox with IE

If you are Firefox(FF) user..You will probably facing some problem..that FF sometimes unable to provide a satisfy service. For examples, certain web page are only available in IE, Scroll bar effect only can see in IE and so on. Well, Firefox sucks in that they have bad web coding support. I hate it because half of css doesn't work and they size everything differently to IE, web designers nighmare.

At the end, you probably install 2 web browsers =.=

And we all know..we love FF so much...It is very troublesome to open two fucking windows. In order to solve the problem...here come the IE tab.

This is a great tool for web developers, since you can easily see how your web page displayed in IE with just one click and then switch back to FF.

This extension is derived from the famous extension IE View, but much different.
While IE View always open IE-only pages in a seperate Internet Explorer window, IE Tab can view them in a Mozilla/Firefox tab.

How to create background image in your blogger

This editor requires Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Firefox or Opera.
Before start edit your background. I recommend you save you original template. Customize->Template->Edit HTML->Download Full Template.


Step 1 : Find a image>Resize your image into 1024x600 (Use photoshop). JPEG type of file. Don't use PNG type of file. Because PNG type of file will not cover whole of you background. Try and see.

Step 2 : Host your image - Here -> Copy the code ( Direct link to image ).

Step 3 : Go to template->Edit HTML->Scroll down->Find body {

JPEG, GIF and PNG

Okay, in spending about 10 minutes looking around, I have already seen enough GIF format files to make me sick. More so because they don't need to be GIF.

To clarify, you should only use a GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) when you are doing an animation, or saving something that only has a few colors, not a range. For example, gif would work on an NES screen shot. GIF will suck on anything that has a gradient like effect in it.

Example of what to use a GIF on,

JPG/JPEG (Joint Photograpic Experts Group) is the standard, use it for anything that does not have transparencies in it. A good thing to use JPG/JPEG on is the typical basic signature or photo. In practise, printing house accept JPG/JPEG file from you; it just doesn’t have enough information in it to make the image look good.

Example of what to use a JPEG on,


PNG (Portable Network Graphics format) is a newer format, and allows for transparencies, but at much higher quality than GIF. Firefox supports it. IE doesn't supports!

One good point is that is pretty easy to learn, and is rather simple to learn.

As a HTML user always use a notepad to type HTML. Trust me..you can do it.
Notepad is a superb tool..only noob will say it is useless. (Quote from lan) He even use notepad to replace ms.excel.
